BR MkI 63.5ft non gangwayed coaches commonly referred to as suburban coaches. Thes vehicles were used on many branch line services. Designed for high passenger volume short journeys, they had few luxuries in fittings, even in First Class. These were 1950's sotck being replaced by DMUs in the early 1960's. Their advantge to the modeller is mainly their frequent use in short trains, sometimes as single coaches on little used services.
Using resin based bodies and internal fittings with metal underframe detailing a good looking sturdy coach has been produced. The bogies are from the excellent ' Eazi-build' range.
