BM5 P-Type Zeppelin
History:
The P-Type entered service in 1915, 22 of the type being built for use by both the army and the navy. When built they were 163.5m long and 18.7m in diameter, some were later rebuilt extending them to 178.5m long. They had a maximum speed of 96km/hr, a ceiling of 3200m and a range of 4300km.
Model details:
Body of Zeppelin is made from lightweight expanded foam, in three sections and is approx 42 inches long when assembled. Fins and Gondolas are cast in resin, with all other fittings in white metal.
